About
A three-amino-acid peptide derived from the C-terminus of α-MSH (melanocyte stimulating hormone). Strong anti-inflammatory effects without melanocortin receptor activation.
Mechanism
Inhibits the NF-κB pathway, reducing TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6. Strong effects in gut-related inflammation.
